Frequently Asked Questions
Q. When and where is the Holiday Club run?
A. Holiday club is running from Monday
9th August every week day morning until Friday
20th August at Holy Trinity Parish Hall, Rosemary lane,
Formby.
Q. What time does it start and finish?
A.10.01am until 12noon
Q. Do I have to register my child?
A. Yes, main registration is on Sunday 8th August
at 2.30pm in the workshop, Holy Trinity Church. You can also register
each morning at 10am but places are limited.
Q. How much does it cost? and do I pay daily or in advance?
A. Holiday Club costs £1.20 per morning per child.
You can chose to either pay each morning on a daily basis or the
total amount when you register.
Q.How old do the children have to be?

(Reception) upto Year 6
Q. Am I expected to stay or is it ok to
leave my child and collect him at noon?
A. No, you can drop the children off at 10.01am
and pick them up again at 12noon .
Q. We're on holiday for the first week, can my child still
attend the second week?
A. You can attend as many days or weeks as you
wish. If you can only enrol for the second week that is fine but
we recommend you get a friend to enrol your child or ring (876613)
so you are not disappointed as places can go very fast due to Holiday
Club's popularity.
Q. Does my child need to bring anything?
A. No everything is provided. we do advise that
children only wear old clothes as some of the activities can be
a little messy.
Q.Is there an opportunity for me to see what they have been
doing?
A. Yes. We hold an open evening on the last Thursday
evening 6.30 - 8.00pm when your children can bring along parents,
friends other relatives etc. Last year 100s of people visited to
view the art and craft work that had been produced during the 2
weeks. Everyone is welcome ( and you get a cup of tea and biscuits
thrown in!)
Q. Can I help if I want to?
A. Yes. We are always looking for extra helpers
and new people to help at holiday club. It is easier if we know
in advance if you are offering to help as it helps us with the planning
process. Contact the Church Office
if you are interested in helping.
