by the fact that our numbers have almost doubled in the last two
years. There is a great range of toys for the children, we have
a craft corner and end our sessions with about ten minutes of music
and singing.
Little Tiddlers Toddler Group Report
The group has continued to flourish and we regularly have 40+ adults
and their children attending on Monday mornings. We not only have
Mums bringing their children but quite a few Grandmas and occasionally
a Dad and Grandad comes too. We aim to provide a warm, welcoming and
relaxed atmosphere where children can play happily and the adults
can meet and enjoy a chat, as it can be quite isolating looking after
very small children. Judging by our attendance, we think we have achieved
this. We provide craft facilities for the older children and during
the year, they make cards and creations for Mother’s Day, Father’s
Day as well as Easter and Christmas.
At such times as Christmas, Easter and Harvest
, Keith, Janice and Maggie join us and hold little Tiddler Toddler
Church. Next service is 17th March at 10am in the Parish
Hall
Finally, we would like to place on record our grateful thanks to
Joan, Shirley , and Dru together with reserves Alison and Thelma
, who come on Mondays to help us set up and last, but not least,
our stalwart band of “Tea Ladies” – Beris , Nan,
Pam , Dot , Joan , Margaret , Irene and Val . Thank you all, ladies.
We could not run the Toddler Group without you.
