The Vision

On Wednesday September 16th 2009, a meeting was held in Church where the Vision for Holy Trinity Church was presented by architect Alex Finlason.

The Vision has been compiled by the Fabric Committee in conjunction with Alex, after looking at other churches that have gone through this process and have made changes to the internal fabric of their church. Every church visited was very positive about their experience with one church advising us to ‘Go for it’!

The Vision is to utilise our great church more effectively for worship, meetings, social and to also be a central part of the community – to be a church capable of the demands of today and for the future. We are all the current custodians of the church and as such we could all leave a great legacy to Holy Trinity Church for future generations of our community.

The presentation by Alex was well received and plenty of questions were asked and feedback forms were handed out.

There is a display at the back of church showing some of Alex’s thoughts and ideas on how we could utilise the space we have. If you were not at the presentation go and see for yourselves the Vision laid out and please fill in a feedback form, with your thoughts.
