Tips for Gardeners
Plant 5 rows of ‘peas’:
prayer, perseverance politeness, promptness and purity.
Then 5 rows of ‘lettuce’:
let us be faithful, let us be unselfish, let us be truthful, let us love one another and let us follow Christ.
Lastly plant ‘turnips’:
turn up for church, turn up with a smile, turn up with bright ideas, turn up with a friend and turn up on time.

Holy Trinity Men's Bowling Club - The club welcomes new and excisting members. For further information please contact the Church Office.

Prayer, Praise and Healing Service - Please note that the next Prayer, Praise and Healing Service will be held on Sunday 1st June. Hopefully after that we will get back to our normal programme with the service taking place on the 2nd Sunday in the month.

Presto - A new group starting at Ravenmoels Community Centre on 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. There will be various activities - knitting, crochet, board games, a swop-shop and more... It's also an opportunity just to get together. See Kath or Janice for more info or just come along 2pm until 4pm.

Start
Would you, or someone close to you, like to start to explore the Christian faith? To think about what life is all about? To ask questions about the Christian faith, and to talk through things?

If the answer is yes then please join us after Easter to explore these questions. There will be six evenings – or Saturday mornings (with bacon butties!) if preferred by those interested.

Interested or know someone who might be? Then have a word with one of us – we would love to hear from you!

Oasis
Do you fancy a midweek lunch with your friends for just £1.00? Seems too good to be true, but this is what Our Lady’s Oasis group are offering on Wednesdays from 12.30 to 1.30 in the Workshop. The lunch consists of a ham or salmon bap with side salad, a cooked desert (we had rhubarb crumble and custard), followed by tea or coffee and a slice of cake. Yes! All that for a pound , and they give all their profits to charity.

This lunch is not just for pensioners, all are welcome. A young mum and toddler were enjoying their lunch when we dropped in. You do not have to ‘join’, just turn up at the Workshop on a Wednesday lunchtime.

News from Jean & David Hucker are our Link Missionaries working for S.A.M.S. in Africa, Northern Chile.

Christian TV and radio
Would you like to receive Christian TV & Radio? Satellite offers 13 Christian TV & 10 Christian Radio channels that are all free. You can buy a system for a one-off cost with nothing further to pay. Want to know more? There is a helpful new website that explains in simple terms how to choose a satellite system for Christian TV & Radio in the UK. There are many options, most that need no Sky contract. This clear step by step guide can be found at www.ChristianSat.org.uk. If you have no internet access, then please send a stamped A4 size SAE with two extra unused stamps to help cover costs, to ChristianSat, 40 Rickford Hill, GUILDFORD, GU3 3PG.
