This is a fabulous book which exhorts people to live up to life in all its fullness under God. It explores guidance and choice.
It is an easy read in one sense but an uncomfortable one in others as it forces us to engage our hearts, minds, intellect and emotions in our relationship with God and our discernment of His will in our lives.

For example it gives four guiding principles for Christian guidance,

  1. Life in God’s will is a call to fullness of life- say your prayers and live as widely as you can.
  2. Life in God’s will is sustained and strengthened by prayer, worship, bible reading, and listening to God in the shared wisdom of His people.
  3. Life in God’s will is not prescribed for us, there may be times when God is specific but God also calls us to take personal responsibility for our own decisions.
  4. A life in God means a willingness to live faithfully in the mystery of things.
So if you want to be stretched in your Christian life and lifestyle and challenged to live “in fullness of life” then this is a good book for you!
