Dates
The MU Deanery Festival was very well attended. The new
Area Dean, Colette Thornborough, participated in the Communion
Service and Margaret Houghton, the MU Diocesan President, addressed
the congregation. Afterwards, ninety years of MU in Formby were
celebrated with a cake and refreshments.
On Thursday 10th July Wakefield Ladies will join
us for a Strawberries & Bubbly afternoon at 2.00pm
in the Main Hall (tickets £1). Also a MU Coffee
Morning will be held in the Workshop on Saturday
23rd August between 9.00am and 12.00 noon. All
are welcome!
Our next outing is at Childwall Abbey, with a meal, on Thursday
14th August. The annual MU Rally will be at Crosby Civic
Centre on Monday 15th September at 6.30 pm.

Happy 90th Anniversary
The MU hosted the Deanery Eucharist in May and celebrated its
90th anniversary. Here are a couple of the photos from this occasion.
