Holy Trinity Ladies

Holy Trinity Ladies welcome all ladies to a friendly evening meeting, where we enjoy lively discussion, friendship and we endeavor to enhance the social life and fellowship of our church family. We regularly invite speakers covering a variety of subjects and together with our other activities, including supporting Charities, visits to the Theatre and social entertainment of our own, we certainly have a great time.

February 2012

Christmas and New Year over so now we start to look forward to Spring and the Daffodils.

Our first meeting in February is on the 2nd. 'Hold the Front Page' - the reminiscences of a journalist, Roger Blaxall is the speaker. Come and listen to today's news, because there is nothing more boring then yesterday's newspaper. This is our first meeting with a speaker this year, so do come
along and make a full room of members and friends for him to speak to.

On February 16th come and see how many unusual words you know in The English Dictionary for a 'Call my Bluff' evening. We had a 'Call my Bluff' evening last year and it went down really well. I'm not sure how many words you can remember, but I'm sure nobody will have forgotten Daphne's performance on words like BOONDAWKING. She told us it was - A Red Indian Riot, it actually means 'a good shot at Tiddely Winks' but a lot of us believed Daphne's Bluff. So come along and see what you
can learn this time, and decide who is telling the truth. Jubilee Hall 8 o'clock.
