Holy Trinity Mothers' Union
Mothers' Union is a World Wide Anglican Organization promoting the
well being of families throughout the World. To be a member you must
have been Baptized in the name of the Holy Trinity and support the
aims of the society.
The Mothers' Union meets on the second Thursday of each month. Please do come and join us!
To be a member of MU is to be a member of the Church of England and the new year began for us with Evensong led by Dr Garth Raybould.
February 2012
On the 9th, the AGM will be held in the Jubilee Hall at 8pm.
On the 11th, there'll be a COFFEE MORNING in the workshop, raising
funds to support the work of MU Overseas. MU is a Christian mission
organisation working through grassroots members like us to support
families and communities around the world. We'll hear more of this
when Cathie Perrin, MU
Overseas Representative, comes on March 8th to give an illustrated
talk about this work.
In the mean time, we'd welcome gifts of cakes (to Lesley) and bric a brac (to Beris) and your company on Saturday 11th.
There will also be an afternoon session in February on Thursday, 23rd at 2pm in the church lounge or workshop when Jean Raybould will chat to us "with Great Pleasure".
MU Programmes for January to July are now available. Any man or woman who feels inclined to support the aims of MU should ask any member about it or ask me,
