Saturday 4th September
Walking to help ‘Hands of Hope Romania’ - Calling all Fell walkers and families who would like to have a good day out in the countryside and raise funds for an excellent local charity we support through providing knitted goods via W.O.W.  Registration is via the website www.walkofhope.co.uk. All registration money goes to the charity (£6 for adults and £4 for under 16’s).  Entrants are free to raise money for any charity, but if people raise sponsor money for the charity they can, if they wish, have their registration fee refunded effectively making the walks free to enter or not bother with sponsorship at all and do it purely for the personal challenge! There is a 25 mile "Lancashire 4 Peaks Challenge", an 18 mile "2 Peak Challenge" and a short 3 mile walk for those with young children etc. More details are in Church office

Christian Aid Barn Dance – no further details are known at this time but please keep the date free if possible.
